This project is a product of the genuine curiosity and true love I have for getting to know people. A love that led me to become a User Experience Designer.
My name is Hebah and I am a Palestinian, Jordanian, American.
It’s only been recently that I’ve learned to embrace who I am and comfortably talk about my heritage. There was a time where I would only admit to one nationality, based on where I was and who I was talking to.
I was afraid of discrimination.
Over the last few years I slowly started embracing who I was. I shared my truth and people listened positively. My honesty sparked curiosity, and a conversation started.
What I discovered is that it’s amazing how much we all have in common. We are simply afraid to embrace what makes us unique to ourselves and weird to others.
